The fun part!
Put in an Offer
Your agent will draft an offer.
This contract is called the "Contract to Buy and Sell Real Estate". We call it the CBS for short.
It is the main contract that the buyer and seller will work off of throughout the deal.
Everything else is an addendum or disclosure.
Earnest Money is Due
Within a couple days of the offer being accepted, the buyer needs to deliver a check to the title company for the earnest money deposit.
Schedule an Inspection
An inspection is usually due within 1-2 weeks after going under contract. Get this done as soon as possible to avoid contract delays.
